My soul is running lean...i miss my cars and driving something other than my flatbed, which i use daily for work. All i do is work. But for good reasons. Got a "family" now. No human babies, just the canine kind. 3 of em and a wifey. Even though its def not the life i saw myself in, im a happy guy overall. I just miss the **** out of my cars and fast cars at that. I need help, i cant even seem to finish my B210...its all together, just need to wire up the KA.

BUT,
that aside, i love seeing ya finish this long term project. Its good to know folks are still knock'm out with killer projects like this, especially in hard times. I just wish i could admire yours in person. These S130 cars are reaching rare, classic status around these parts. Kind of where the S30 was when i got in to Datsuns. So jkeep it up, document the heck out of it and DRIVE IT!!! DRIIIVVVEE IT!!!

gonna make a good detailed write-up for what you wired up your MS for and how? cause that wouldinterest me since if i go MS i don't want to think awhole lot for myself lol.

also your motor is identical to mine basically. almost identical turbo, identical wastegate setup (fricfrac I have detailed pics in a thread) and then just new rod bearings, ARP rod studs ARP head studs MLS kameari headgasket, 240sx throttle body... crazyness

I followed mobythevans writeup on hybridz...real easy and simple, I can help ya guys out but I dont think ill do a writeup since his is pretty much awesome.

-edit - on a funny note ima member of an f150 forum too, and hahaha, I read someone asking about MS, and the replies were:

"OMG what a way to blow up your truck, dont do it"
"that looks worse then those ebay chips for 25 dollars"
etc etc.,,

oh ignorance...

The thing that confuses me (probably because I'm over thinking it...) is that the CAS from the '81 runs off a 90 tooth with three missing teeth metal wheel on the crank behind the pullys. The '82-'83 uses a 360 tooth wheel and a secondary 6 tooth wheel. I've been told (who knows if there is any truth to it...) that you can use an '81 ECU with an '82-83 dizzy. They both do plug into the harness and the schematic looks virtually identical for the wiring. There are no 90-1-1-1 or 360/6 options. I'm running TunerStudio MS full version on MSIII with a MS3x daughter card and I can get the stimulator to run fine but I'm lost when it comes to setting up the ignition for the 280ZXT. I have both a CAS and an '82-83 dizzy....

Why dont you just use the 83 turbo dizzy its so easy to setup, I dont have a external CAS setup.

Snw - I bought an assembled unit like long *** time ago. But looking at schematics on the assembly side, looks simple. It goes step by step highlighting where to put parts, power supply, input, output so on.

Yea I'll run the turbo dizzy but it's the software that's confusing me...
