A few questions(fuses
Hello! Ok, took a look through the FSM, wiring diagrams scare me, I have little experience with cars, this is my first car, a 80 280zx. So with that said, I have a few questions maybe some of you can help with, I'm gonna shoot em off pretty quick and make it sweet.
these first questions have to do with a problem I'm having with my turn signals not working. (I've replaced the turn signal combination switch so far)
#1.Missing fuse! what is this, what does it do, and where can I get it?
#2.That black prong/ping is black and burnt. How do I replace or fix this, could it be the source of my turn signal woes?
Now, I planned on two more questions, but I want to keep this relevant to one main goal. I want my turn signals working!!
Thank you very much for reading and taking the time to consider answering my questions.
P.S These images are off my facebook, I sincerely apologize for the size.

Question 1: i believe that is a inhibitor relay. if you have a manual, dont worry about it. its for auto-tragic(automatic) transmission.
Question 2: you can work the pin out using an extra small screw driver. and rewire a new pin to the existing wire.
i have turn signal issues too. but its not the cause from the harness connector like you may have on yours. have you taken the turn signal lens out to check how rusted or corroded your bulb socket? if its bad you may not be getting power to the socket.

I will check that, but I should have mentioned first that when I bought the car, it had no bumper and some fog lights attached to it, the man had a switch mounted near the steering wheel to turn them on and he had them connected to some wires I see he cut. I do not under what he did , but the way a friend explained it to me was he had them hooked up to the turn signal somehow and when I turn them on, they were shorting the turn signals and then the turn signals stopped working.
Hazards work, but not the turn signals.
