Just got myself a Honda motorcycle fuel cap to retrofit in place of my stock cap.
The diameter of the honda one is exact to the space on the 280zx.

Has anyone attempted to do this before I start making my own build?

Well If you do this post some pics that way we can see how clean it looks .. Who knows it might turn out to look good

 

Drax did a GSR gas cap IIRC on his 240Z on HybridZ

I tried searching HybridZ and couldn't find it. Do you have the link .. Just trying to see what this would look like on the ZX.
