Fuel pump help!

Okay, to start off I'm new on this site and haven't really had any luck finding anything through searching. I'm sure there are many threads that are already covering the topic, but I was wondering if anyone can help me out with the problem. I went to a couple of auto sales stores and the pump came up as in in tank fuel pump originally but when I took the fuel pump off the car, it wasn't in tank. My thought is that the previous owner might have used a universal fuel pump to run the car and I just wanted to make sure of all this. Here's a picture of the pump that I took off of my Z : Image - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting and heres the pic of the autozone pump Image - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting

Welcome to Zdriver!
That is a stock pump you removed from the stock location, the new pump should work fine, it looks just like the one I put on my z.

Just replaced mine,(80 n/a) with the same type of pump. No big deal, and works fine. I picked mine up at RockAuto.com for only $56.
