Question Fuel Pump Replacement

hey all,
im a newbie and i really could use a writeup on how to replace the fuel pump in my 83 280zx. mine is whinning like **** and i need it to stop. any help is much appreciated. thanks

It's pretty much cut and dry. Once you get under there, you'll see that it's strapped in and just two wires go to it. Just get the wires correct and your good to go. I also put ATV on the connectors since they're directly under the "up-tube" out of the pump, just in case. Easy job, bud. If in doubt, let us know...

Here's my fuel pump replacement write up:

-Open hatch, remove carpet, remove black foam pad, disconnect fuel pump connection.
-Jack up rear of car & place on jack stands.
-Remove right rear tire.
-Scoot under car w/ a 10mm wrench, phillips screwdriver, & and a pair of vice grips.
-Clamp off the "IN" side of the hose.
-Remove 2 10mm bolts holding the fuel pump rubber mount.
-Loosen clamps on both sides of the fuel pump.
-Remove fuel pump.

-Do the oposite for install.
