i just cant easily and affordably get boost stuff here. ittl cost me 1000 for the motor tops, and for boosted like 8000. so ill save my dished pistons for the day the n/a blows, and i got some money. for now im just trying to get in the sport, well, im starting at the gt class. not exactly beginner, but there are just too many mods i can do so easily!

The area arlound the windshield is one of the worst problem areas for rust and corrosion. Don't go through all the work of putting the car on a spinner and and all that other stuff and blow a perfect opportunity to clean out the area around the windshield and re-seal it after. It only makes sense.
Yes, the glass will almost certainly break coming out. It's a $130 windshield... Well worth it if you are wanting to do the job right.
Have fun!
Rod.

Right on Shady, good work. Looking forward to watching you progress. I can't wait, to strip mine down to a rolling chassis. Of course I will be doing it the dinosaur way. lol Strip, and gut it out, and put it up on jackstands. And I plan to sandblast the whole thing. Inside and out, I hope to have him restored within a couple of years.
I don't want to jack your thread, so I will stop now. Keep us updated bro', and good luck.

So whats happening with filling in the targa roof openings, apparently improves body rigidity significantly.

thats exactly what im doing 260det. i dont like t-tops, they dot have quite the same rigidity, and they are not as safe on the track (imo) i dont need one flying out on impact (cause itll prolly happen). besides, this thing is gonna look just like the bob sharp car, he never had t-tops, so neither will i!
