Hahaha new alt 100 amps strong

WOW couldnt belive it really worked!!!!!
1988 - 1993? eagle primeir alt ( 25 $ ) BOLTS RIGHT IN
Junk the stock and get better eficency 100 amps

Things that need done.

1. Convert the ribbed pully to a GM 2" V Belt Pully ( cost 3 bucks )
2. power wire and Ground drop right into place
3. charging lamp wires need cliped and wired to connector from eagle alt
( yellow to yellow and black, blue to Brown and yellow wire )

Presto tighten belt and enjoy
Happy hunting

Dodge Monaco is the same Delco alternator, works well.

Where did you get your 2" pulley?

I found this, 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera From O'reilly
List: Alternator - 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera | O'Reilly Auto Parts

Looks the same to me!!!

Do you have to take the Alt apart to wire lamp wire? or did you use a pig tail? plus the mounting holes dont look lined up like the 280s Alt.

its ben raining alot il take pics soon

2 in v belt pully i just stoped into a altenator shop and had them change it out a huge wooping 3$

Nope that alt dont have double feet to mount to bottom bracket !!! Not a big deal really

And the wires for the charge lamp are just connected to the pig tail
Wired as described in op

Also the gm 1 wire will work aswell just have to cut down the bottom foot a lil to align with belt

More Power

Is there a higher rated Alternator, in the 130 to 150 range, Ive seen custom 185 amp models which sounded like over kill, but if you had a lot of gear and maybe dual batteries, it would be something to consider. This is a Mod I've done a little research on, totally cool you found a shop that could swap the pulleys so cheap. Thanks for the writeup, good stuff .
