Hatch Removal

Ok if I remove the hatch, how hard will it be to line it up when its time to reinstall it?
Other thing is, I'll be by myself. So how heavy is that hatch to lift?

Easy, and about 1/5 the weight of the hood on a 77 Toronado...

I would suggest a friend to help hold it up while you get the bolts started. I wouldn't want to try it alone and drop the thing on the ground...

Pretty much.
Believe it or not, some hatch covers the factory recommended method for adjustment was BEND them. Volare S/W.

Use a marker or white out to mark the position of the bolts to hinges, then line them up upon install.

No bending or breaking required (nor recommended).
