headlight WOES
Ok drivers side headlight works on high not on low
passenger side works ( dim ) on high and not on low
replaced all fuses, relays, headlight sensor, combination switch, and combination switch harness
where is the ground wire between the light relay and headlight sensor?

Great work
Finally got it fixed, way to go. Wouldn't you know a toasty connector. Thats what the fusible links are all about, they should heat up and burn through before the harness or any connectors get hot. Double check the fusible links and make sure all is well there. Using a heavy gauge wire in place of the Link wires can be dangerous, and you never know what short cuts the PO took.

The amp ratings are only approximations, since fuses pop instantly and links are a much slower reacting type of fuse. The wire inside can melt completely and leave the plastic cover looking perfect. So don't go on looks alone.

Fuses of all types are to protect from shorts. A burnt connection is not actually a short but it does cause high resistance resulting in high current draw and "normaly" it will burn out a fuse for that reason. Just last week I had a vehicle in the shop that had a froze up cooling fan. Replaced the fan motor but it still wouldn't work. Upon closer inspection I found that the fan motor had burned out the relay and it's harness connector from the excessive current draw but yet the fuses were fine. Friggin Chrysler products suck!!!

YEA FINNALY

replaced all interior fuses

headlight sensor replaced
and got pissed off and comed thru every sing wire inch by inch till i found the burnt connection
its a good thing im stubbern was just about to give up and run a set of toggles

Persistance pays
After all the time and effort and money, it would have been a shame to give up. I have a stubborn streak too, and like you a problem like that drives me crazy. Great satisfaction in figuring it out and getting it fixed, I really hate giving in and taking my car to a shop to fix something that has stumped me.
Cheers !!!
