Heat= half an engine?
Recently i discovered a small(large) blockage in my cooling sytsem. The car had started acting up. Once fully warmed up. I'd loose combustion on 4,5&6. Got spark, Got fuel. My temp gauge is Non-Functional disbite my best efforts. One day it was acting up, pulled over felt the lower rad hose, top near engine was hot, bottom near radiator was ice cold. humm. popped the hose off. found a brown paper towel pokin out of the rad port. removed, filled rad with coolant, car still ran on the front three. It will run great with about a 3 hour shut down, until fully warm. No milkshake oil. no oil in coolant. not burning oil or coolant. Y am i loosing my rear three? If you remove all three injector plugs while it's running off the front three, it runs better. humm. I'm thinking the head warped just enough to cause compression loss when warm.

compression test will eliminate the headgasket problem. try swapping sparkplugs, maybe the rear 3 are screwed? or try making sure the rear injectors are firing or hurry up and put those carbs on.

The car runs like a raped ape until it warms up. thats why I am a bit confused. Tomorrow I tighten down the head bolts. I think I am going to do 5pounds over stock. These head bolts have never been "reused" and were new at time of rebuild 22K miles ago.
Carbs will be off to powder coater soon. I am also guna get some NGK's for it tomorrow. all will come in due time.
