Well, if you've got enough of a budget to buy all that, then you probably have enough for all the other custom stuff you'll need.

Off the top of my head, here's a list of things you'll need to do:
-upgrade fuel pump
-upgrade fuel lines
-custom motor mounts
-custom tranny mount
-custom driveline
-custom radiator
-custom gauges (or custom wiring harness to meet the dash)
-custom speedo ... Z32 trans uses a speed sensor, not cable
-custom throttle cable

I would also measure the width (left & right) of the motor... hopefully it will fit between the strut towers.

why would you wanna swap out a normal v6 and get rid of the inline 6 in my opionon the inline could produce waaay more hp (given enough money of course) then the 300zx motor

RB could produce with out as much dough. and you stay nissan. or go Yota. same all custom. but could cost less with more power. and you stay inline

no....
VG30DETT = 1000+ hp
L28ET = 600-

1000>600 = 300zx motor has more potential than the 280zx motor.

I'm pretty sure there was no l28et in '79. Don't do this. Bad, bad idea. The l28 is a great engine. Easy to work on. Easily modified. The TT engine will complicate your life no end. If you want more power then go turbo your l28. Or buy a Buick GN motor. Much simpler than a TT with just as much potential.

search for threads with the word "problems" or "need help" in the z32 section, then search for those same words in the s130 AND the s30 section and tell me the numbers.

Bad idea. The VG30DETT engine is WAY wider than the V8 LS1 Corvette. I would measure the widest part of that motor and the narrowest part of your engine bay before I would drop the coin on that "kit". I wouldn't touch that swap with a 10 foot pole. FAR too complicated and, as a result, FAR to unlikely to ever be completed.

the OP didn't say whether his car now had a turbo, so i was guessing that if he was going to get an l28 with that much power, it would be swapped in.
