Holy Crap...
#101
I did a few things to the N/A today. I put the K&N back on the car, double checked the timing, and swapped the plug wires over from the turbo. She is trying to run better, I can feel a difference in the car since I set the timing. I bumped one of the connections on the intake and the car started it high rpm crap again so I wiggled the connection and it stopped. This is leading me to believe that I need to clean ALL my connections just to be safe...who knows, she may end up running correctly.
I may go ahead and make my own connections like I did to the injectors on my gold '82 when I used my wire crimper's and some female spade connectors...worked perfectly. This way I can be sure there is contact and no corrosion. I start swapping my black interior back into the '79 tomorrow. Then the dismantling of the turbo shall begin. I hate to do it but I have bigger plans now.
