I am now a ZXT owner!

So today I picked up a 82 ZXT for $500. When I saw it had a dead battery and 2 flats and the car hasn't ran in over 6 years. So I get it towed home fill up the tires put a new battery in it and changed a leaky fuel hose from the pump and fired it up. Started on the first try. Put new fuel in and now she's running like a champ!

Nice find, my 79 wasn't in half that condition. How much do you want for the louvers?

Yeah the paint is kinda rough and there's a few placed on the body that's got some surface rust... But as soon as I get some of it's other problems squared away. She's gonna get a new body kit and some fresh paint. That's gonna be after I freshen up engine. I'm gonna paint it right this time and have the engine bay the same color as the whole car..

Is that Dave in the 2nd pic . Too bad I got rid of most of my turbo goodies. I still have my LM-1 wideband O2 and a MBC for you to play with .

Thanks guys. And yeah I plan on making it a whole lot nicer than my other z. Right now I'm trying to find a place that can replicate my fiberglass Zx-R wing and maybe make just a few extra to sell so I can offset the cost on restoring this baby.

wings west makes the lipped whale tail, then you could just shave the center down to match what you have. i dont know how close the wings are, but id sure like a zxr wing tho

I too might be interested in a ZX-R wing. Post when you know a price for a replica one. And good luck with your new project. Looking forward to seeing you progress with it. And have a killer Turbo Z!
