Someone on Got-Z had posted that site a while back too... and a debate broke out about how in-acurate those estimates are, & it doesn't take into account altitude, crank or wheel hp, etc... but a good start!

Yeah, I was thinking about all the other inconsistant variables as I was playing around with calculator. It's a good guesstimate, though.

Awesome stuff - who cares if it's not "completely accurate"? It's a program designed to GUESS, not pinpoint.

And, you really think Black's Zed weighs 2850? My 2+2 is completely stripped, except for the backseat, and I was guessing 2900 or thereabouts. What's a 2+2 weigh stock? If I knew that, I can consider that I've removed approximately 380 lbs. from my car.

It'll obviously vary depending on options, but I suspect it's closer to 3000 than 2800.

I should have my scales next week and I'll be able to tell you conclusively how much mine weighs.

According to the Haynes guide. Curb weight for a 2 Seater is 2800 lbs, whereas a 2+2 is 2900 lbs. I don't know how accurate that is, but from the sounds of it, the 2+2 must not weigh that much more.
