I got lucky this weekend!

Hey boys, just got me a 82 2+2 Turbo parts car. Engine is sweet running (153,000 kms), tranny is Auto (oh well), Body is rough and rusty, underpinnings are quite decent and its fully loaded(t-tops etc), strut towers are in awesome shape (my driver's side needs replacing), has the same colour int and ext as mine. Plus the 15" turbo "cross" wheels. Rolled it into the garage for now cause thats all the room i got. Gonna start stripping it pretty soon. I wanna be like Bleach, be able to rip out a dash in 5 minutes heh heh.

So now I got two turbo engines. the delima is whether to keep em both or sell one. what du ya all say?

I hear ya. before I got one I thought it would be a rare thing especialy here in Canuckland. Got the first one through some spare parts add in the paper, wasn't even listed as a "for sale" just came up while I was talking to the guy. then I saw the turbo 2+2 for sale. Irony is that I paid the same amount for the entire complete car that I did for just the engine a few months earlier. $350 CDN...

Alright then, I gotta get started on that fairly soon. Gotta make it all fast AND pretty for the September Show and Shine in Vancouver. maybe you can learn from my mistakes then. Although I am not sure I can teach you much about the Z car so dont get your hopes up!

Hey, a classic Z Car is just fine with out a turbo. Yeh a turbo would be great. But Z Car's are geting hard to find. Only 3 Z Car's with in 50 miles of here. 2 280's and a 240. Just be glad you have one. and have fun in it. But if you would like to get rid of a turbo, don't be afraid to say so :x

Yeah I am pretty lucky to have spent so little to have all the extra parts. I remember thinking $300 would be a good deal for a turbo set up. Dont fret it boyz, be on the lookout and before you know it you will have the set up you want for your Z. Time and Money...and maybe some good ol' luck!
