So they FINALY came. 5 days too late. I wanted them before MSA but oh well. I'll do a full write up on the install but i just wanted to share for now. The illumination is the best part about them. So off the the Z I go. . . .

Ok so im just about done, been doing the swap over a couple nights. BUT the oil pressure gauge is what is holding me up. The end of the needle has a small block on the end that I assume is for counter balancing or weight purposes? But it is making contact with the gauge power wire because the space is so limited in the housing, so I made a few cuts int he housing but there isn't much to work with. What harm would it do if any if I removed the lower portion of the needle? Would it still read accurately?

Another question-
I am pretty sure the gauges are going to be bright as hell so i was wondering if anyone knew how to wire them up with the stock dimming unit?

Or just splice in the existing dimmer. It's no longer going to be functional for anything but the clock since you've got your new guages. Just wire it inline with your new guages. That way you get the factory look and don't have to hassle with a new pot.

So here they are. Sorry for the crappy pics. The whole swap turned out to be WAY more work than i anticipated, but worth it. A lot of fab work to the gauge housings is what really held me up. After about 12 hours total of work and fitting and running around for a damn petontiemeter that would work this is what i got. So i am pleased over all.
