Possible New ZX for ME!!!
Well while I was at work today doing my route in Tampa, Fl we stopped at a house to treat this guys lawn and in the road, in front of his house, is a 1982 280ZX L28ET...yes, a 1 owner Turbo, T-Topped, 5-Speed Coupe!!! This car was purchased buy our customer in Tampa and has remained in his ownership since new in the Tamp Bay area. Now, the car is FAR from perfect looking...rust on most panels...however, the air is ice cold and the engine I am told runs perfect and has a new turbo on it. From what I saw, all the Turbo "swastika" rims are perfect and shiny. The car also has the piece that goes between the taillights that says 280ZX Turbo. The T-tops look perfect but the car is missing the center console and passenger seat. The exterior is maroon and the interior is black and silver...I think...the car also has factory louvers on the rear glass.
From talking with the guy about the car it seems like he will let it go for a few hundred dollars as he said he has to many projects (house) going on to do anything with the car. Now I know I have two coupes already but three is better than two and if I am still on a lucky streak I am going to talk to this other guy about his 240Z!!!!! WhhhooOOOOOmmmmmppppp WhhhooOOOOOmmmmmppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hit Craigslist
I'm looking at a '92 300ZX 5-speed with 70k miles for $4500.
Print this link out: http://miami.craigslist.org/car/278738624.html
And ask him how you can buy this car, 12 years newer for $4600 and he thinks he can sell that one for $6k?
Ooh! Here's a '91 TT for $6k! http://miami.craigslist.org/car/277805754.html

Nope, still trying to recover from bumpin' fenders at Thunderhill yesterday... Damn, my shoulders hurt...
P.S.
It's official. My new Orange 240Z is getting an RB and my White 240Z has just become a dedicated track car. It's off to get a full 10 to 12 point roll cage installed on Thursday and will be built to SCCA ITS specs.
I now have 3 full on projects and another 240Z waiting on an LS2/7... Jesus! How do I get myself into these things.

I know what you mean...I told my mom that I may be getting a third Z and she ask if I was keeping the other two...of course I am. I said it could be worse, I could be addicted to drugs.

lmao i did research and this is the specs:
The changes underhood were likewise familiar. The Turbo I pieces were removed and the engines were again converted to intercooled Turbo II specs. (See the 86 GLHS page for specific information.) The horsepower rating remained at 175 as did the torque output of 175 lb-ft from 2200-4800 rpm. The Charger-based 87 GLHS was slightly heavier and also more aerodynamic than the Omni-based 86 GLHS and the 87's performance figures show it: 0-60 in 6.7, an ET of 14.9 at 95mph, and a top speed of 134 MPH.
lol, thats umm..... yeah, once my 260 turbo is running right it will spank that 14.9 1/4 mile.
ill show you to rain on my party! lol jk.
