Thumbs up I Love my Z, or how forum lurking pays off.

I just wanted to give a big thank you to everyone on this forum and ZCar for the wealth of information you have all made available, and also for you both having a great user base of knowledgable people.

Ive had my '82 ZX for 3 months now, and ive been wrenching on it on and off almost every day since then. Its a tired old car, and its seen better days thats for sure. But by following guides and searching back on old posts ive been able to find about just about everything i needed to do to make her live again...

And today, taking my son to school with the t-tops off the car drove the best it ever has since ive bought it. It just had so much pull i couldnt help but smile and keep driving all morning.

All thats left for me now is a turbo conversion and some interior restoration, but more and more i come to love my Z every time i get in her and feel an improvement.

Thank you all for your unintentional guidance.

I'm happy for you that you're able to experience that feeling.

I'm almost getting there, but one day I'll be able to drive my ZX again.
