so i am taking this corectly into thinking that:
the car tries to die when its cold when your comming to a stop and the RPM is dropping down to idle speed? but it just heeps going and dies?
and it doesent do this when its wamred up, even if its only warm slightly.
and 700rpm should be a good warm idle speed.

The problem is normally most noticeable right after starting the car when the weather is hot or when the engine is already hot.
The car will start right up without a problem but will then idle so low that it will sometimes cut out altogether if i don;t give it any juice. When it's idleing too low like this the idle speed seems to "bounce" up and down a little (between say 500 and 700 rpm).
On a cold day the car will fire right up and keep a good idle speed at first, but then i may notice the same problem when i stop at a traffic light a little later once the engine is warm.
Hope that makes it a little clearer
Thanks!

if its doing it when its warm than its oppisite of what i had then.
when it was cold my car would dip back and fourth, some times still does it but it was a combination of things.
vaccum leaks, weak spark, not enough overall voltage, too lean and the BCCD wasnt adjusted correctly.
i fixed everything except the overall voltage. i had a hefty leak that would seal up when warm with my vavle cover gasket, mabe your getting the oppisite effect, leaks when warm. might check the bolts on it see if theyre tight, mine werent, but i replaced it any way to be safe and it was cheap.
