Mike, seems like the 280 Z guys here have done the most mods of anybody on this site. Everything you can think of doing to a 280 has been done by somebody here. When you get to a specific point, just give them enough info and ask them. You will get experienced responses from guys who know their beans. Just check out the archived 280 forums to see what I mean.

game plan is def what you need. first things first, no point in stock piling stuff that won't go in the engine for a year or 2. spend the money on sale items early but buy things you need now.
1. get the engine running correctly and reliably before moding it.
2. do good upgrades like a light flywheel and good clutch and ignition. know your ignition system your going to use and work towards that so you don't need to upgrade twice.
3. air intake. super simple but plan it well, cone filter new manifold and tb
4. stand alone ecu. get it running on basically stock motor.
5. header and exhaust. 3-5 can be done in any order really
6. fuel pump and injectors, again make the stand alone work again, its gonna need to be played with every upgrade
7. internals. more compression, flow bench, balancing etc. cam
8. final dyno tune.

Ok i have a plan I know what I need I'm just simply asking about what kind of injectors I need. But every one keeps telling you can put injectors in yet. I know this Im not going to put them in yet. I have a buddy selling some turbo 280zx injectors. I have a chance to get the bigger injectors now but I don't know if they will work for what I need that's why I'm ask you guys. But Boone has yet to tell me if they will work.

Iv already bored it .03 over with flat top pistons. My compression is around 210 on all cylinders. I'm getting a new coil pack and rotor botton and dis cap just pit in new pugs and I'm getting new wires. I going to get a header fIt and Im gong to make my own intake if I can't find a better one somewhere esle. I'm making a new fuel Rail. I'm going tO get bigger injectors. And a stand alone ecu. I'm getting a 60 mm throttle body. And I'm gOing to fab a ram air for it.

ECU first
You need to do a tunable ECU like megasquirt now, and as you add new parts you can tune your system to them. You need to be able to make adjustments to the computer so that you are taking maximum advantage of your upgrades.
