Injector's not fireing

I primed my motor with gas. and for the first time in three year's. She fired right up. But would only burn up prime and die. I know my pump is good due to I can hear it. and both inlet and outlet fuel lines that runaround the front on the vaulve cover are full and presureized. So it's pretty much aimed at the injector's. There can't be no way All 6 of them are bad. Would the presure regulator on the fuel rail stop fuel geting to injectors in any way? And I don't have a test light to test injector power, but i do have a volt metter, but how much volt's or OHM's should they get to work right>?

I would test the pressure regulator and see if it's putting out...

Your best be is to get down to the parts store and borrow a Noid Light. It's for testing injectors. It'll tell you if they're firing or not. Now if it ends up that they're not firing then refer back to the 2-3 threads by 81black. I believe the first was called Sencors and the second was called Sensors 2 or something like that. Pretty much anything that could cause the injectors not to fire is discussed in those. It's a lot of reading but it should give you plenty to work on You can buy a fuel pressure guage for really cheap at the parts store too to test fuel pressure. But I'd borrow the Noid light first cause it's free.

I WAS TRYING TO NOT LOOK AT THIS POST ....just becuase this is a hard problem to solve ..i had this problem and it sucked {bigtime}.....i would frist change out the D.R and then the Dissy if ... that doesnt fix it the problem then ..THE injector relay ...haveing a extra ECU is a must ..head temp sensor ..o2 sensor ..AFM
this problem is a tuff one ...i think that the problem is in the dissy ...something grounds out and shuts the ecu off ..i had to change alot of stuff to get mine to run..... it took a long time i change so many things......but in the end i think it was the dissy ..... fined a parts car it will make your life alot eazyer ...on the better side of it all it runs nice and clean now ... no black smoke ..and twice the power ....good gas mileage is a must right now.big $$$$ thanks BUSH your a *** ..... i have seen a big change in the amont of gas she uses sence i got her back up and running ...if your z is a gas eater it could just be a small sensor that needs to be changed ..the o2 and head temp sensors play a big part in telling the ecu how much gas to give... along with the AFM and TPS ..If one of these items are just a little off then the ECU can run richer or leaner or not at all i hate fuel injection ....

if you fined out what it is.............. post it ....

Stop war ....smoke blunts ...and use your Z's for DRIFTING stunts

there is a sensor not even hooked up, (the wire was old and just fell off) by the water inlet on yop of motor, there are two sensor's. Then small one in the back, the bitch to get to. that's the one. What sensor is this? and how bad would it effect my injector's. P.S on my ECU the light bink's once then goes off. Is this the normal?

I don't know where my EFI relay is. And I have no clue what a dissy is. It's like saying i need a new Cunuter vaulve. They got my once on that.

If it's just a one wire sensor then it wouldn't affect the injectors or Fuel Injection at all. One's the temp sensor for the gauge and the other one wire sensor is for the AC. The two wire sensor (has a plug like the injectors) is for the thermotime switch and controls the cold start valve. None of those would affect whether the injectors would fire though.

It's behind this little plastic cover in the fender well. Look right next to the battery. Open up that cover and the relay's right inside there.

I replaced her. She almost started on her own with no prime. But still no go. Takes a prime. And I am afraid there might be a bad rod. While it run's for it's few secound's when it cut's off there's a loud clunk. I can also hear it during cranking but it only stops the motor when it's runnin. It sounds like it's comeing from the Right side of motor between EGR and mass air unit.
