Running 11:1 on pump gas is one thing. Doing it with the Bosch L-jetrontic is another thing. I'm not knocking the L28 itself, but rather the engine management. It's a very crude system. 11:1 is pushing it, and you have to tune the engine just right if you're going to run pump gas. Newer cars like the S2k can run high compression ratios because they are tuned exquisitely, that's why its so hard to extract more power from those cars. Honda didn't leave much room for improvement. I wouldn't advise it unless you got some sort of aftermarket fuel controler or some dished pistons to modify the C/R.
