its been awhile...
well figured its been awhile since i posted some pics of the datsun.. so maybe ill just put some on here to stir up some people.
My wiring harness was all messed up for some reason so i had to throw a stocker in to get it running.
its on blocks cause i have been tring to get the driveshaft made and i cant jack it up cause it simply hits the ground if i try one wheel at a time.. lol
i know its excessive but i like it.

thats the only way to weld a gas tank is to fill it up then weld, gasoline itself is not flamable but the vapors are so if you have a contained sealed gas tank that is full then yes you can weld it or so i've heard.

Lol - don't need to tell me about explosives ;P Do let us know though when you're about to weld a gas tank after you've filler 'er up so we can get the camera's ready....

Hey, in the guy's defence, those are 4 x 4's. Welding on a full gas tank will boil the gas, gas has a low flash point, weld long enough and boom, it would make a nice bomb. Why else are you going to weld on any kind of vessel unless it has a hole, so you would have gas running out on you and your rod? I thing he's welding the frame right next to the gas tank. :-( Still not smart. I like the car, that's what we were talking about to begin with I think.

I wish everything in my s130 was as easy to reach as yours, if i wanna adjust the alternator belt I gotta jack up the car and take off the belly plate under the radiator, because power steering and AC stuff is in my way

haha, my dad has a 68 barracuda, and its engine bay is gigantic and a bit empty, you can almost stand in it lol, then on the other i hand, i have a 1972 ford van which has an incredibly cramped engine bay covered in oil lol
