Just Finished Redoing Interior

HEY ZerS!

Just finished the interior of my 280. Notice the concealed the head unit in the glove. I tried to maintain the original look of the interior so I left as much of the original components as possible. I wish I wouldve taken pictures of the before but this a list of what I did:

Front/rear seats reupholstered (notice the 280zx patches on the front. What do you think?)

New mats/carpets

New head liner / T Tops shades and panels reupholstered

New Door Skins

New Stereo in glove with speakers (left original in to maintain original look).

Grant steering wheel, leather shift boot, and mahogany shifter.

WHAT I STILL NEED TO DO:

New dash (not a cap)

New heater control panel, radio face plate, ashtray and housing

New steering column cover

PAINT JOB.

Hope you guys enjoy the pics! Let me know what you think!

Later!

Sweet man , verry nice! Check out my cardomain page, and see my blue and silver interior. Props to you for pretty much staying original. A purist after my own heart. Good job bro'!

Dude I love that steering wheel, its the one from MSA right? I was going to buy one like that for my car or maybe pull one off a 240Z. I just love the look and feel of the old school style wooden wheels.

Nice work!

Thanks skully. I redid the padding (well the wife did) before we reupholstered them. I wish we wouldve went with the silver on the front and blue vinyl backs but the kids wouldve definitely left their marks on the lighter color!

Wow ... so that's what my interior used to look like ... Turbo badges aside.

I'm very impressed! That has to be one of the cleanest stock interiors I've seen yet. Very nice, mad props. If I could only get the interior of my Zed and Rx7 the same condition, I'd be a happy man!
