last little issue
Well the t-top has been running perfect since my idiotic episode. On cue the car wants to play games. Took it up my mountain camp and noticed going down hill around 65 mph . With out my foot on the gas it belches a bit of oil. Hit the gas it puffs it out in one shot then runs fine. Never got into the pcv system before but I noticed a slick coat of oil on my throttle body. The elbow on top of the valve cover. Should it have a valve or is it hallow?

Get PCV Valve
Ya, you are missing a part it looks like, its a $5 dollar part that should get changed on a semi regular basis, like part of a major tune-up. Motorsport! PCV Valve, 70-89 240Z-260Z-280Z-280ZX-300ZX - The Z Store! Nissan-Datsun 240Z-260Z-280Z-280ZX-300ZX(Z31/Z32)-350Z-370Z Parts I'm sure any local parts store like o'riellys or autozone can hook you up.

could be a broken B.C.D.D or "Boost controlled deceleration device" it is designed to open a valve at high engine vacuum to lessen the high vacuum to prevent oil consumption. this oil consumption happens because the vacuum is so high it actually pulls excessive amounts of oil through the valve guides straight into the cylinders, which causes the blue smoke. the B.C.D.D stops this.
