some De De De unpluged it. Still don't know if it work's or not. Battery is at a freinds house. This guy who had this car before me did not respect it at all. I have found so many wires cut. all the speaker wire's had to be fixed. Glad I got it before she roted away at a junk yard.

But a ZX. paint them and mine all the same. Blue with white stripe. and when the week end comes, call two freinds and ride the town. I can't stand to see these car's in junk yard's.

I love seeing them in junkyards. In fact I get a feeling of utter disapointment when I head over to the junkyard to find a part and don't find any Z's there No junkyard cars = No junkyard parts

LoL... that's my feeling too. Too bad they're not on the road anymore, but... too good for me, cuz it's got parts to pull!

I used to see them all the time when I would go to the local yard. Not anymore. I would learn about the setup of the Z's motor, drivetrain . .everything . . . by tinkering with something, taking it all apart and then trying to put it back together. I see them occasionaly now, but never when I need something

Yep. Gotta love seeing Zs in the 'yard. Tally up one more to the pile soon - mine's on her way out.

Which reminds me, if you guys need anything, I've still probably got it on mine, so before she gets crushed, lemme know, and I'll get it to ya for dirt freaking cheap.

Oh yeah, after Apollo PMed me, I realized I didn't post that I don't have anything interior-wise, aside from a cracked-*** dash, seat brackets, and door handles. Just about everything else is fair game.

You know to go back to the frst few posts ( about people with cut wires ) when i bought my 280zxt there was major wire problems and guess were i found them ? in the drivers side door some body cut them all and didnt put them back togethor right since then i have competly degutted the inside of the car to find the problems.. i fixed most of them in the drivers side door ( the power windows ) the side mirrors ) , but im still having problems with the power door locks.. so i cant lock up my Z !!! =-( but its ok i park it in the back yard guarded by my killer white pitbull ( monster ) but never the less my turn signals still dont work and the emergency flahsers still dont work and most of all the cruise control works for a quick 10 seconds then shuts off.... =-( does any body have any clues on what i should buy to fix this ? i was told the hole new or used turn signal assembaly? if so does any body have any ?

( stupid people shouldnt own z cars ) thanks god i bought my 1982 280zxt before it did go to the junk yard

Hey D, What abou the driver side door handle? Mines bent in and that thing is a bitch to straiten out right. And I also need the rod that attaches to the outer door lock (driver side). Mines busted so if I lock my driver side door I have to unlock the passenger door and reach over and unlock the driver side. It's inside the door and its a bitch to get out. The plastic end pieces can be brittle so watch out for those. That's the part that broke on my rod. If you wanna pull them I'll pay for them in the next couple of weeks. Then you can go ahead and ship them (if you got em). So it'll be a little while before I need em, just wanted to know if you pull them before you send her to the great unknown. Oh, and if you've got the 2+2 Ttops save those too. I'll definitely be buying those off of you in the future. But probably not til after Christmas. This is all if you don't mind man.

If everything's the same between 2-seaters and 2+2s, then I'm game for that. Yeah, I was going to save the T-tops for ya [thinking ahead ], and possibly the hood [it's straight]. I'm keeping the taillights for my '82, since I hate the '82-'83 tails. Engine's already claimed by myself, but certain parts I can get rid of [running Megasquirt and going turbo on this one]. Dizzy is taken. Anything else is fair game so far.

Hell, I'll sell the ENTIRE wiring harness from this car. I know there's a few of you that have some hashed wires on your Zeds, and wouldn't mind a replacement.

This car should be gone before Christmas, so keep claiming stuff guys, you're giving me something to do this week.
