that would be quite a trick to get those other Nissan gauges installed in there and calibrated.

The reason the 1979 130mph speedos are used is because they just bolt in as a complete cluster and no calibration is needed.

they pop up on eBay or even this website's classified section from time to time. Typical prices are $40-80. I'm not sure what you're looking to spend.

Haha! Your thread title says you're looking for a speedo! Did you try walmart? How snug of a banana hammock are you looking for?

Anyway, to be serious now... I may have a 130mph one becoming for sale soon.

Hehe, banana hammock. So when you swap speedometers, dont you have to change the little gear in the top of the tranny as well?

the speedometers are calibrated the same to read according to the numbers on their face.
The plastic speedo cog at the tranny end of the cable is relative to your rear gear ratio. (or tire size change)

So you don't need to do anything but swap the speedo cluster and the banana hammock.

If you change from a 3.54 R200 to a 3.9 R200 then you would change your speedometer cable COG at that time.

I've got two actually plus one from a maxima that has the identical part number on it but the input cable is different. You can look at the speedo itself and it tells you that xxxx rpm is 60 mph. they are all made by the same company. anyway email at krs@whidbey.com and we can work out the details.
