Lots of updates going around...

So, I thought I would post some updates of my own!

I'm entering my '83 280ZX in the May LeMons event at Altamont Motorsports Park in the East Bay! We'll, I'm submitting my "application" anyway. At least the cage is being installed this weekend.

Today, I sent my white 240Z out for some rust repair under the battery tray, then it's off to the fab shop to get a cage installed.

My 280ZX Turbo looks like it might actually come out of the body shop in the next couple of days... It was almost done 3 weeks ago until one of the body guys gouged the paint bad enough to require a repaint of the driver's rear quarter and the roof... Yes, he did get fired.

My orange 240Z doesn't look like it's going to be done anytime soon, which isn't that big a deal since my RB25 hasn't arrived yet.

The short answer is, I'm still driving a '99 Honda Civic every day... ;(

Holy crap! It's about time to get the 280zxt out of the shop. It's been there for several years now hasn't it? And the Civ is perfect for a commuter car... better looking than my Gee-oh!

My goal is to have my Z(s130) shipped out to the MSA of 2012. Since I'm along ways away. I think I'll shipp it instead of drive it. Lots to do by then.

It's a parts car that isn't listed in my sig!

The factory auto tranny isn't likely to survive an endurance race, even when it was new... and these races are about reliability and the ability to avoid collision damage. Since the turbo is a 145k mi drivetrain, I'm not certain about it's reliability.

An NA ZX, can be thrashed to hell and back and start every time if all the electrical connections are clean.
