good luck with the mirrors, that was the hardest part in my paint job. lol. but i only had one. those damn windows are in the way.
BTW
S30= 240Z, 260Z, 280Z
S130= 280ZX
pretty simple.
Z31= 83-89 300ZX
Z32= 90-96 300ZX
and i see you have urethane enamal. MUCH easier to work with than my 2 step style. but mine will be more sparkle sparkle (gives depth)

ummm... i got a bunch of extensions and went from the very bottom with a socket, or if you have a small air ratchet. and you need a deep well. i believe its a 12mm. i know what your going through. its a BITCH!!!!!!!!!! might have to remove your window

The mirror nut should be easy to get off if you have an extension on your ratchet. Just roll down the window, remove interior panel & plastic moisture barrier... The outter door handles are another story. Those are easier to do when the door window has been removed.

****, I was struggling with the window up. Lol, too bad I already taped the window off, oh well, I guess if it has to come down it has to come down. Thanks, I'll try that.

Maybe the window does need to be up... I was thinking there is an access hole up by the mirror... no?
EDIT... yeah, page 282 of the Haynes manual... access hole forward of inner door handle.
