My 280ZX arrived

Got my 82, white, na z yesterday from the shipper. It finally arrived!!!!
It's sweet. Great shape - original paint.
I will post photos once I figure out how.
Excuse my dunbness but there seems to be 2 issues.
1st, there is a fuel smell, the injectors must be leaking. I guess I need to replace them, or maybe not?
2nd, after taking it for a ride, afterI turning it off, a blower motor kept running. You could feel the air comming out of the 2 black vents that are on the top of the engine. Ran for about 5 minutes then stopped. It does not do this all the time though. Whats up with this?

the fan has a temp sensor in it. If it is working right, it will only come on after your engine has overheated during the last drive. It blows are accross the injectors.

Mine worked a couple times when I first got the car. (1996) Then i learned what I was doing and I never overheated the car again once I was maintaining it properly.

I removed the fan when I did the turbo engine swap

injector leaks are common, find out whats leaking if its the injector seal itself or the hose that goes to it. fuel leaks are serious, i would NOT drive it unit you get it fixed because all it takes is a little fuel to hit a hot header or something spark and you're car is up in flames.
the seals/hoses are cheap.. a new engine/car is not.

lol

I don't want to admit it.

slow oil leak, didn't check the oil level. I ran it low twice overheating it. REALLY bad on the engine but that bad boy still lasted over 220,000 miles before I dropped in the turbo L28.

Also, water leak in the radiator.

I didnt mess with sealing radiators or buying used ones. I finally bought a brand new one and it worked wonderfully for 5 years... the moment that newer radiator failed me I was out in the middle of the Nevada desert!!! no joke
LWW got a call from me

a hole popped up at the seam on the top tank. It would have been worse if it was the bottom tank. Still, under pressure it spit out a large amount of the water supply. You need all of it if you're driving to Vegas.

Will not be in Vegas any time soon but I'll check the water level anyway.
