Good luck - I'm not far from you so I watch prices in the Seattle area. I did pick my turbo car up in Marysville for a good price but I had to jump on it.

There's a swap on CL for $600, needs rings, gaskets, and somethin else (off the top of my head), but thats just for the engine, harness, and ECU.

^^^ If the engine is already out of the car, a basic rebuild w/o machine work is cake. Offer $500 cash and go pick it up!

I second Nismo, I am rebuilding mine and with machine work, parts, and tools I didnt have I am looking at about $1,900. If you didnt need machine work and you have all of the tools, parts arent too bad in relation to cost.

Yea that's a good price. I paid $300 gas/ferry to get one from Oak Harbour for $500 and the oil pump was missing, the turbo was buggered, the harness hacked, head warped and its an '81 so it has the CAS/dizzy not the better optical setup. Oh yea then the guy smashed the motor against the side of my dad's two year old truck and put a huge dent and scraped the paint..... anyhow yeah $600 is a good deal.

Get a set of ITM pistons for around $35 each they come with rings and wrist pins instead of spending ~$100 for just rings...

Allllrighty then. I'll hump over there at my next paycheck. The gf is gonna kill me, but I'll have a turbo, which will make it okay.

Oh, and one just posted for $450, it runs. you pull.
