Hello Z lover's:

I just recently brought an 81 280zxt. She’s in decent shape with her normal rust here and there. The engine sounds good however; I have not yet taken her for a ride since the water pump is bad, don’t want to risk it. Nevertheless, I want to start fixing her up and hopefully at least get her pushing around 300 hp. I know the upgrades will be a little costly but I am going to do this slowly and try to most of the minor work myself. As all us married guys know we have to do these upgrades without putting too much of a dent in the bank, if not the wife will look for any excuse and say that the car is a money pit and try to make me sell it. Well wish me luck Z lovers I will post pictures before the end of the week.

Yes, I have been a member for a while but did not have the luck of finding a good "Z" but now I finally got one, Well to tell you the truth this is my sixths 280zx I have originally owned. Back when I was in high school I got to own four. and my fifth one I got last year it was a 77 280z but it was rusted out really bad so I had that one for like 4 months since the wife was on my back about how much money it was going to be to fix it i sold it. But the Z gods were good and I found my sixths one and hopefully I plan to keep this one for a long while.
