Didnt want to make another thread. Were do you guy get your block off plates? Do you just fab them of can you buy them? I want to clean up my intake manifold.
Also, for plugging the holes in the intake manifold do you just get bolts for a hardware store?

Used a 1/8" aluminum plate traced it out - easy to cut and shape. Standard metric screws and high temp gasket sealant (not required but had it on hand). Easy peasy....

I think I heard a trick for plugging that POV.
The intake manifold of a Z31 has a screw in plug in it that fits the 280ZX manifold in that spot. Just take one from a wrecking yard.
Yeah, this hose design is genious! If you can get the bypass valve out, the bolt blocking it is the L-series oil pan plug.

The bypass valve may be what you were wanting to ask about. If you leave it in, there won't be enough vac/pressure to release the BOV anyway. I'm pretty sure the bypass will override it.
POV releaves overboost pressure from the intake manifold.
