My dad (previous owner) installed a new carpet kit from what was then LMC, now I believe it is BlackDragon. The back piece looks good but the front is all wadded up and when you try to fix it goes back to looking like crap. I even screwed down some strips but that did not help much ether. Have you guys had the same problem with the front carpet? Is there a way to fix it? Should I just buy a better front carpet? Is there a good molded carpet available?

 

Sounds like it wasn't installed correctly. Did they remove the center console & radio to meet it back up?

 

Once I get a new camera I will post some pics. The carpet is under the console. It is just were your feet go that is a wrinkled up. I am thinking about taking it all the way out and pressure washing it. Then lay it flat with weight on it to see if I can get the wrinkles out. It is like it has wrinkle memory now. Then hopefully I can get it installed correctly. That is the hardest thing about this car, it is like a half done project and I am trying to get up to speed as to where everything is at in the process. His site has been a great help in searching old threads and being able to post question.
