Nismo619 Read This!

Ok well those injectors are going your way. Hopefully they help your friend, now read this....

The injectors worked fine in my car, no leaks or problems!!!! I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS AFTER THE INSTALLATION!!!! YOU ARE AT YOUR OWN RISK. WHEN YOU RECIEVE THESE INJECTORS THEY WILL HAVE NO RUBBER SEALS BECAUSE I BOUGHT NEW ONES AND USED THEM ON THE INJECTORS BUT NEED THEM FOR MY OWN NOW. SEALS CAN BE BOUGHT FROM EBAY FOR CHEAP IF YOU NEED THEM. AGAIN WHEN YOU RECIEVE THESE, I TAKE NO FURTHER RESPONSIBILITY ON HOW YOU INSTALL THEM OR WHAT YOU DO WITH THEM. NO RESPONSIBILITY AT ALL!! DO YOU ACCEPT THE TERMS, JUST REPLY WITH A YES OR NO. REST OF YOU HERE WILL BE MY WITNESSES. This is for my own coverage, nothing is intended by this, I dont wanna get in trouble if you set yourself on fire, have a fire extinguisher ready when working with fuel lines.
thanks.

To everyone else: Please wait to reply after he has agreed/disagreed, Thank you.

Hey Nismo619, Just for the fun of it, video it, so if something does go wrong we can watch it, and maybe you could win some bucks to repair the car on "America's Funniest Videos". Just kidding, but do unplug the battery, trust me those small sparks WILL light up your engine bay. (Don't ask how I know!)

LOL im gonna video tape it just for the heck of it.. but i assure every one i know what im doing i have done some resurch and i have redone 2 complete sets of injectors on both the n/a and turbo model cars 280zx's no joke.. and yes i know about the rubber seals. but whats most important is getting new pintal caps and injector screens. i use my dremel to cut off the old hose and metal cap holding the hose. i am careful not to cut threw the METAL BARB. of the fuel injector.. anyways.. ill be siting hear waiting for these injectors to come...

First off, you dont need to replace the pintle caps unless they're broken. And they dont usually break unless somebody breaks them while installing or removing the injectors. They are a non wear item. The screens also should only be replaced if they're plugged. Otherwise it's a waste of time. No point in replacing non-wearing items if they dont need replacing. The screens dont usually clog unless you're either not using a fuel filter or the injectors are left sitting without fuel to protect the screens from corrosion. It's not like an electrical part that can eventually fail with time just cause it's old or worn out.

personally i found it eazier to use a pair of needle nose pliars to kinda pinch the old broken pintal caps off.. i would tell u to start at the " top of the pintal cap " dont get anywere close to the bottom of the pintal cap because once u get the old pintal cap off u will notice a metal pin sticking out dont break that off... just be careful.... hope u can understand what im saying...

Those RX7 ones are great. It's easy to find 550s in both high and low impedance.

87 - 89 RX7 n/a. You'll need more than boost to control them.... they are way too big for the stock ecu to handle.

The 370cc SVO's are about the biggest you can go on the stock ecu. I am starting the Z31T ecu swap on my Z tomorrow & will be using the SVO's... we'll see how that turns out. I know LifegrdDude is using SVO's... but he's also got an SAFC hooked up.

I tried those RX7's in my Z... but they spray double the vol of the stockers & the ecu just can't handle it. Nissan didn't design the ECCS (280zxt) computer for any tune-ablity.

If you're really interested in that swap, check out the hybidz writeup:

http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=91250

It's a fairly clear explanation... but I've been charting all the wires for the 280zxt & z31t ecu's.... I imagine I'll do a write up w/ pics when I'm done... hopefully in the next couple weeks.

And the Cobra MAF is only for the JWT ecu... you just use the Z31 MAF w/ the Z31 ecu.

ya, when I did research before I started my turbo buildup I came to the conclusion that any larger injectors required a different ECU.

So, either new injectors, ECU, fuel rail, fuel pump, and larger turbo.... or all stock. I chose to push the stock stuff to its limit. ...which is only 12psi or so. I plan to run an adjustable rising rate fuel pressure regulator and an intercooler. Besides that, all 1983 technology!
