When you say you've been testing the "IC Units", do you mean the ECU (electronic control unit COMPUTER) or the Ignitor module on the side of the coil bracket?
Have you tried another ECU?
Also, you're running the car w/ no gauges? Other wiring problems?
I've read this thread several times through, and still can't make heads or tails of some things...
You first thought it was a fuel problem, then a spark problem, then no problems, then spark problem...
I'm at a loss here.

I tested the unit next to the coil.
No I have not tried another Computer. I read in the manual saying that do not try another computer on the 83 turbo only use OEM. I dont have another.
The center Guages I removed because the did not work Ever! so yeah rpm gause and fuel gauge not working

Changed my dizzy and now the car runs again!!!
BUT...
I let the car warm up and then i got in the car cut the headlights on and drove down the street.
About 6 houses down the block the car sputterrd?? NO Go..SO i drove and the car seemed like it wanted to die.
lights went out and i slowly made it back home (car off)
Tested battery said like 9.32 volts or something like that. Jumped car and it started like a good boy.. checked volt ready was 11.7 or so maybe 8.
removed battery jumper cables and continue to monitor volts, which dropped slowley on my guage.
I'm wondering if my alternator has died, I will have to fix the problem now that this is going to b my daily driver..no car right now so i gotta fix it..
I was happy about the car starting today I thought the dizzy would be kinda hard to replace but really the hardest thing was pulling the wire connector apart.
