Ouch!

Damn!, I just bottomed out my car in a dip that was never there before going about 65 MPH. Aside from scaring the livin' s*%t outta me... It totally FUBERed my chin spoiler. This happened on a road in Del Mar that is REGULARLY driven by the most exotic (and low) cars in the world. I feel sorry for the first rich bastard that nails that thing in his brand new Ferrarri or Lamborghini. The Porsche I was in the middle of outrunning at the time almost locked up his brakes when he saw the crap and sparks flying out from under my car! (yes, I said "outrunning"... I'm sure that if he had the ***** to, he would have kept up with me no problem. It's one of those super twisty/windy 2 lane roads with signs that warn you about upcoming turns that are posted 15-20 MPH. It's quite a fun drive.)

Looks like I'll be touching up my chin spoiler again tomorrow...

Rod.

What other damage "could" occur from such a thing? My Z's suspension was totally shot when I got it, so I suspect the P.O. probably bottomed out just as many times as I have driving around town. Odly, there doesn't seem to be any cosmetic damage associated with it Maby I'm just lucky

Try following that Pathfinder off-road sometime and see who outruns who...
