P90A head what can i use it for
ok so i had this head that a machine shop botched and to level it out it was shave by a bit (by another shop). im not sure about how i can use these mesurments to see what the haed is still good for.. anyways on the under side of the head next to each pair of valves it reads .034 i believe it was the amount shaven off ..???
its a fully rebuilt head so id like to make use of it or possibly sell it..
can any one help..

its looks like just marker .. ok so if its the amount shaved off what does that mean??? can it be used??
i know usually they shave off like a 100th, but clearly here it has moved to the 10th position.. which can be alot ..
im at work passing my time here so id like to discuss befor i call him tomorrow??

I would assume .034 would be the amount shaved off, since the valves are 44 & 36mm and the combustion chamber should be around 53.6cc. I don't know why it would be written inside all 6 cylinders though...
You can machine up to ~.080 before needing shims.
And if you are sitting on your thumbs at work, why wait until tomorrow to call?
