got the paint both up and tacked together ...at the cost of $40.00 dallors ...car is about ready for the frist primer coat.... i still need to remove some glazeing and get all my bondo spots flat... but it really seem closer with the paint room all setup... ...sanding will be done out side of the car port form this point out more light is better and less dust will build up ...well i need to go sand and tape so have a good day all
iam out

i got it ALL Primed up stoked SUPER stoked
i can really see it coming together... i am so happy with how much the primer hid ...it looked smooth going on ... there are a few places that i will need to work down ..but i have 48 hours to wait befor i can touch IT ...so i guess its 400 grit from here on out or at least intell primer coat #2 goes on i will take some more pics in the light tomarrow moring ..iam sure that ..i will think it looks like **** as soon as i see it in full light but frist coat of prime is more or less just to see if its flat or not ....
now i got to make it flat

That is one of my rear bumper blocks ,that i made to remove my rear bumper....the skirt sits on top of the wood blocks .... when the skirts are installed it locks it into place....kind of getto but works very well ...lighter is better ..but i hope she never gets rear ended

Yeah man that would be a mess, if that happened! Anyway lookin' good bro', definately worth the hard work! I wish my Z was straight, it will take some work to straighten it out. But oh well, one thing at a time. It's good to see somebody making progress, and something to show for it! Keep it up man!

Clever. The ghetto ideas are always the best ones. Anyone can have a bracket made for something like that, but to rig it up with things that have no place being there: now thats ingenius .

One gallon should be more than enough. I did two light coats on my 280Z I painted a while back. I used just a little more than a half gallon. I should have made the mixture just a little more thick though.
