Well I have to disagree. I've always liked the 82-83 style better.
Also, I too was wondering where eurozx went. He hasn't been around in about 2 years! I even posted here a while back asking about him. Does anyone has any pictures of his car? I have a couple of the interrior.... I'll trade!

I like the '79-81 taillights better because they look more like the older gen taillights; more "classic". However, the one thing I do like better about the '82-83 taillights is the smoother design makes it easier to clean. The '79-81's have that black trim piece that often is worn and grit/dirt often gets into the crevice between the upper/lower halves, where it's harder to clean.

I saw those chearl signals. At first I thought it was real but if you look at the high resolution version you can definatly see that was photoshopped. The edge bleeds over into the red portion.
EuroZX had an all black 2-seater. He had molded the skyline tail lights in with bondo and had the MSA fiberglass bodykit. He had taken out the heater and radio and isntalled custom yellow gauge faces. He put the CD player where the heater controls go.
His website had his car with some pics taken in a vacant parking garage... pretty cool........ those garage pics I did not save. I'd like some. I have the gauge pics and one pic of the tail lights under construction. Someone on zcar.com threw out a rumor he was in jail but nobody seemed to confirm that. I spoke with him several times on Zdriver when it had the older format.
....back in the good 'ol dayz

I agree with Bleach. The '82-83 taillights are a lot better looking. They are nice and smooth. Maybe it is because my '81 taillights, are kind of more plain than my '82. Don't get me wrong, I like both styles. And will keep my '81 lights as they are. Except maybe a blackout kit for them. Anyway it is only my opinion. Different strokes for different folks!

Uppon some more research on Google, I found his old email address and sent him an email. I did not get a bounce back right away so maybe it went through.
Here's the goods! Can't find the rear pic right now. now that I think about it, I may have all of his pictures on an old computer in my basement that I used to use back in 1999-2001. hmmm...
Can anyone show me a website or catalog that has steering wheels with buttons like Eurozx's? I hate horn buttons in the middle of the wheel. I mean, I need a couple NOS buttons for my 100 shot.

ok, whatever... I found the other picture I have of his car. It shows his new wheels set up against the car and his Skyline tails being molded in with high quality bondo!

I honestly don't care for the wide go kart wheels! To me they look ugly and ridiculous! And it is hard on the suspension and engine. Because it has to labor more, for the tires being too small! And besides that, not to be offensive. But they look getto! But it is just my opinion. I like more tread on my tires.

You do understand that he only set those there on the ground so he could take some side pictures to get an idea of what the wheels will look like on the car. If you look in the pics above, he has the wheels mounted properly.

Yeah I see the wheels mounted. Sorry if I offended you Bleach. That was not my purpose. But still I like more tread on my tires! And like they say different strokes for different folks! It still is a nice car though!

You didn't offend me, but I was just making sure you knew EuroZX would never ride with wheels sticking out like that.
If you like more meat on your wheels, you aren't going to like my next set of wheels! I'm seriously looking into a 5-lug swap now so I can get the big wheels I want.

comin along. . . .
well its getting there. side markers are shaved and primed. fenders have been bonded with the headlight bezles and the rear wiper/washer fluid nozel have been shaved as well. also got the templates made for the new tail light set up made. after those are in its time to start fabbing the front and rear and weld up the hatch and make the window the opening. work work work . . . .
#48
Thanks red. shaving the markers really isnt that bad. you could do the work yourself and just take it to a shop to get it painted. all you need is a welder and 4 sheet metal plates. you spot weld the plates, placing them on the inside of the fender, grind your welds flush, use a metal/fiberglass body filler, block sand smooth and then prime and paint . . .and blamo!!!! you're done.

Beautiful work Apollo! I'm interested to see what you do with the hatch. If its anything as clean as the molded headlight buckets, it should be nothing short of astounding.
Keep up the good work, and many more pics!
