Does anybody have any suggestions on how to remove the 2 plastic plugs that hold the door pillars in place? There are 2 on each door pillars & when I tried to remove them off a rusted out Z they just broke & I don't want to break the good ones on my Z as I am replacing the pillars (the tab where you screw the pillars to the floor are broke). I purchased a tool for removing the door panel, but there is no way to get under the plastic to pop these plugs out. HELP. Thanks for any suggestions.

 

check these out. Plastic rivets that aren't OEM, but he states that they work well. Those old ones bust apart all the time...

Yeah, check out the 280ZX Rubber parts. Good stuff to replace at decent prices...

 

I checked out the store referenced, but the fastner plugs I need are about 1" round and they don't have them. There must be some way to remove them without any damage. Thanks for the suggestions anyways. (I corrected the diamater which is actuall ONE INCH round.
