I don't have a problem with putting Honda seats in a Nissan... After all, it's pretty funny to think the only worthy Honda part is only going to be SAT ON! I have yet to find a seat though that is more comfortable on long drives than the stock 280ZX seat. After driving coast to coast and back again in that car, it was awesome. Conversely... 30 minutes in the PT Cruiser and I feel like I've been jumped and beaten by Mike Tyson and Evander Hollyfield at the same time. Obviously Mercedes' influence and knack for ergonomics didn't find its way into the PT Cruiser seats. .................................................. ..Rod.

Hahah..
I love the crx seats. The old z seats I had were just too beat up and the backs no longer held in place. The z seats were too fat and plush, I would like to be held into my seat instead of sinking into it.
Those plates are 1/4-1/8 inch thick. They were a pain to get cut and took forever to drill. Maybe alittle unsafe...but everyones gotta die someday, and I wouldnt mind going in the Z.

I wonder... Wouldn't the Z32 seats be way too wide for the S130? I tried a set of Z31 seats but they were no go. Much too wide. Hmmm I just happen to have a really nice pair of Z32 seats sitting around here somewhere .................................................. .................Rod.

I Put Some Leater Z31 Seats In A Customers 280zx, They Just Skim The Door And The Console, But They Fit, Use The Outside Rails And Make Steel Tabs 1" Toward The Center On The Inside Rails. They Sit A Little High But Not Bad. He Loves Them 8 Way Power And All

I was able to get the ZX rails to bolt to the Honda seats. At that point the width was perfect. They bolted right down to the factory positions in the car and I utalized the factory seat belt receiver. It did take a little hacking and drilling on the rails but its just the rails. it is very solid.

Way to go Bleach!
I did the same thing with the Scat Pro-Car seats out of my 280ZX when I put them in my 240z. I used the sliders from the 240z seats so it was a pretty close match. I only had to modify one corner to get them to fit.

oh ya, I removed the clip on one side so only the side with the handle acts as a slider. The Honda seats were set up that way originally so I figured it must be strong enough.. oh wait, Hondas are weak... oops!

That easy.
I would like to see how you got the seats in there. Please post some pics if you get a chance.
