I think I'd be worth it only if someone mounted in there dash and spliced and ran power wires to it when the car is on. Otherwise another reason for thieves to break into your car...Heads up is cool tho. I'd enjoy it.

Welcome to ZDriver!
Indeed that is pretty cool... but I'm skeptical. The picture is obviously a photoshop render of it. I'd like to see how the actual projection onto the windshield looks. And... no speedo when you are in a tunnel or parking garage... I guess that's not very often. I would rather just fix the stock speedo (could only be: cog, cable, or speedometer).

Well im thinking about getting one because 80mph just isnt enough and i dont want to stick a autometer in it and tear apart my dash. And the concept seems cool cause i could be wrong but im pretty sure i remember the early 240sx coupe models had the heads up display and it was nice for fast twisty roads bein able to stare straight ahead and drive

The easiest way is to swap entire gauge clusters. But if you got one on ebay (like this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Datsu...Q5fAccessories )
Then you'd need to take apart the cluster.
Then you'd need to take apart the cluster.

Why not just spend the same $125 and get a "REAL" GPS navigation system:

Actually, that's a Canadian KPH cluster that I air brushed off the KPH/MPH label and the MPH numbers on the inner orange ring and had the speedo recalibrated to MPH. So, technically, it's a KPH speedo, but now it reads accurately as an MPH speedo.
