thanks for the compliments. she isn't exactly concourse when you get up close, 3 or 4 little paint chips, the black moulding is beginning to fade, and the powdercoat is coming off the wheels. inside, the floormats have a bit of wear, the shift boot is showing some wear, and the steering wheel has a bit of wear. nothing major at all, and it's all on the list to be fixed. and i try and keep her as clean as i can. every so often i go over the interior with Q-Tips, and the seats come out for a vacuum underneath. but for a year round daily driver with 10x,xxx miles she's not too bad.

 

Yes the seats match, but the leather is separating form the 6 1/2 years it sat in my driveway...not running. I have some nice black seat covers on them right now.

Everything is original...even the suspension, but that's about to change. I've tuned the stock motor to as good as it's going to get. I even scored a 17.73 on the 1/4 mile (@ 5,200 ft.) which is better than what Car&Driver got out of a new one (18.1).

I have a few engine mods on the way, but nothing too severe.

 

entropy's car is nice up close, he sees flaws, i smack his head. its even pretty fast for a buggered up diff nose too.. and hoov what z car? i dont see one! nice lady, put her up on hybridz girlfriend thread.

1981, and as far as photobucket, i tried logging in and i guess because of me leaving it inactive for a while they kinda won't let me in anymore and i'm like way too lazy to really deal with that or make a new profile and transfer my pictures to it from yahoo.

Here is my Z after.. I'm in need of restoration.. Windows are in but down function properly due to the mechanic and the front windshield has the top chrome sticking out.. the rear windshield has no chrome around it. Need to fix alot of dents amd others plus the talking lady. Paint is rough can't wax it. If you guys know anyone that can help please contact me at awfullyelmo@yahoo.com .

This is me (on the left) before I was "offically" taller than my mom (on the right), although I was leaning on the car and she wasn't, so we were about the same height at that time. She's like 5'10". 16th birthday pic from 1994 right here:



We just got back from the DMV, and I was headed to school as a newly-licensed driver right after this was taken. Needless to say, I broke the speed limit a couple times on the way.

Sadly, this is the only pic of my 280ZX that I have. This was before digital cameras, too, so this is a scanned image. Man, I loved that car!!!!

 

Loved? wha happen to it? it looks just like mine when i first got it, only way more pretty and shiny.

 

That picture is from 1994, when I was 16. My mom sold it because I drove like a bat out of he¬¬. I have no idea where it is now, or if it's even still on the road.
