Radio

So the Dial that turns it on is messed up, like if I turn it. It just keeps turning, is there another way to turn the radio on?

I tried inserting a cassette and it didn't work. I don't know if the radio is broken or if it's just the dial.

Suggestions?

Man... it's been a long time since I've used a stock 280zx radio, but I thought you push it in to turn it on...

Actually, I got it to work today.

I'm so happy my 280zx is finally running.

I also fixed the tailights so I can drive at night.

Today I stalled (once), lol since it's like my third time using stick (yeah, the car was down for that long) and now the passenger's seatbelt doesn't want to move. It's like jammed I can't pull it out for them. It's pulled back completely.

Any ideas?

Crappy wiring. Speakers still work, so I use the tape converter thing and listen to my Zune.

Thanks, guess I'll do this tomorrow morning along with getting a new tire for my right rear. I wish I could buy them all, but I'm to poor right now so I'm buying a refurbished tire since my 280zx is currently using a 240sx's tire+rim so the offset is all messed up and it makes for crappy driving.

Today I fixed the taillights so I don't have to worry about being stopped at night.

Now I just need a muffler, though I really like the sound of it having none. It kinda sounds like a v8.

On a sidenote, this car can really accelerate really fast...I was surprised.

Zune>Ipod

I can hack it, plus it's a "Z" so it's fitting.

what's this mp3 player. I use my MP3 cds with my headunit and that's good for me. Besides I only have a 4gb Zen Micro. It's not too bad, just the battery does kinda die quick.

It's a Zune.

Any mp3 player will work though.

Just find something like this.

http://www.austar.martbase.com/product_16205.html

They sell similar at walmart for like 10 bucks or something.

i actually struck it rich and the previous owner installed new stereos for the rear AND ran new wires <3 <3 and i just installed a sony cd/tuner/aux and no tape player required and i get CRYSTAL clear sound not to mention the ability to equalize and it looks bomb, i definately recommend selling your factory radio for like $50 and buying a sony for like a few more, it's definately worth it, but if you like originality and MIDI quality music then more power to you
