Rain leaking in! Any way to adjust door windows?

I have an '82 280ZX with t-tops. However, it isn't the t-tops that's really causing my leaking problem. I got brand new, official Nissan weatherstripping for the doors and on the driver's side body. And yet, I'm still leaking. Water seeps in between the door window and the weatherstripping. It's almost as though the window doesn't roll up far enough to create a strong seal. The doors seem aligned with the body, so I don't think it's the doors themselves as being the problem. Strangely enough, I don't have the same issue with my rusty, beater '83 t-top turbo. So does anyone know if it's possibly to make adjustments to how high the door windows roll up? Another millimeter or 2 higher might solve my problem, unless someone else has a good solution.

I'm not sure if there is a way to bring the window up, but you could try getting out of the car, rolling the window up, and then physically grabbing the window and trying to pull it up farther.

yea, im pretty sure you can, if you open up the door, look for the little round stoppers on the glass. i belive those are ajustable, and should be able to fix that, but i may be wrong

actually i think what icice had shown me was that the rail adjustments might help with that. if you look for the 4 securing bolts for the window rails, losen the nut, then turn the bolt itself to adjust the window. i had water coming in between the window and the outerwindow seal that runs along the lower part of the door. when i adjusted it it believe it made a stronger seal against the top rubber as well because now i have no wind noise as well.

Whoa, alarmingly, I found a puddle of water in my spare tire well too! Once again, my rusty beater ZX doesn't leak like my "good" one! And I really have no clue where this water is coming from since the surrounding area appears to be dry (though it has been a couple days since the last rain).

Hm, I dunno if it could be the taillight that's leaking for me. If it were, I would've thought water would've pooled up on the trunk floor, not just the spare tire well. I sure how to god that it's not the rear window itself that's leaking.

well see, i think in my case what happend was that water runs down the hatch seems and the gaskets leaked. and since int eh trunk area there is a lip around it it ither ends up in the spare tire well or in the other side.
