Rear Quarter Panel Seam
Hey everyone I was doing body work today and when I was working on taking off the inch of bodo on the right rear quarter i found out why it was there.. its pretty wrinkled up from being pounded out and i think there is a seam some where on the quarter that i can replace the back with but can anyone tell me where its at since its not noticeable when all the paint is off. also is there a seam on the top of the car or is the seam in my from it being replaced? u cant see the seam if the piant is on it but if u take it off u can see a cut and a weld ground flat and painted over just wondering if this was factory or not

The Seam For The Stock Rear Quarters Are Near The Top Of The Roof, And At The Front Of The Door, In The Door Jamb. The Rear Wraps Around A Little Ways And Is Below The Tail Light About 2-3 Inches From The Edge. If You Open Your Hatch You Should Be Able To See That One.

what about the front aprons and everything out foreward of the car my frame was welded back together after the one side broke off and the other side buckled.. is it possible to do like a body shop would and cut and swap front ends? has anyone done it or should we not bother?

My Friend Did That, I Dont Know About Doing Things Like That, From A Structural Stand Point. If Your Going To, Get A Parts Car, Drill All The Spot Welds Off The Hole Front End At The Firewall And Swap The Whole Assemby. Thats What Body Shops Do. Take Lots Of Measurements And Do It When The Car It Welded To Jack Stands On A Perfectly Level Floor
