recondition dash

I know this is already been covered but i want to know the different ways folks have tried and failed. I know I can buy a cap or send dash off to be recoverd.

yo, yeah get a full dash cap, there cheap, and work...Plus you won't have 15pds. of bondo on the top of it...There also simple, just unscrew the OE dash cover and rescrew...Done.

There are a few guys on hybridZ have used spray on bedliner on the dash with good results. I'm looking at that option myself as my dash is trashed and my dashcap melted... go AZ summers

i dont know about you guys but the reconditioned dash looks pretty nice compared to the original state. I would have not even bothered with it having seen the previous pictures but you did a good job. How much time did that take you? I was thinking of resurfacing my dash since i got her parked now but not sure i would use a bed liner type material

most of my time was spent on prep of the cracks, waitin on the body filler to dry. I spread it out over some time, but I think I could have done it in a day easy. Just bedliner over body filler the filler showed through, went back with a good semi gloss auto paint
