removing paint from interior parts

so a previous owner of my car found it necessary to visually massacre the whole thing with spray paint. It was originally a silver car with a blue interior. Not the nicest color combo so I see why one would try to change it, but they did a terrible job. Overspray on all the glass and he did this two tone flat black and silver job on the outside. Theres patches of grey primer here and there. All the chrome trim is flat black as well. It looks like hell so I plan to change this as soon as it gets warmer outside.
The interior is all spray painted black and BRIGHT blue for the window switches and such. The paint is wrinkled on the plastic, and chipping off of everything that is not hard plastic like the center console and glovebox. Someone even put bondo in the rips on the door panels! Those will simply be replaced, I still have the near perfect red ones from my last car. Everything else will need to be stripped of it's layers of paint. I don't want to damage the plastic by using a harsh paint stripper... What is the best method/ product for stripping the paint from these interior parts?

I'm not sure how it will affect the plastic. but I know carb cleaner eats spray paint like no other. Well the cheaper paints anyways.

go to a body shop supply store and get some LR10. it takes a little bit of work but if you take a rag and dip it in the LR10 then rub it on the plastic peices it will take the paint off without hurting the plastic
