Residual fuel pressure

Residual fuel pressure
Hello,
I checked the fuel pressure, it ran right up to about 37-40 psi during the 3 second prime cycle, but then dropped back to zero within a couple of seconds (key still in the on pos). The 37 psi should remain long after the pump stops even with the car off, correct? I don't seem to see a mention of the residual pressure in the FSM.
The reason for the pressure test is that I am suspecting I have a stuck fuel injector, the car is running very rich, white smoke/vapor at the exhaust which smells like gas. SP #3 is fuel soaked, 1,2 are black sooty, 4,5,6 look better, but not much still fluffy black soot.
Thanks in advance.

#2
Nevermind.. found out number 3 is in full on squirt gun mode.. I took off the fuel rail and it is a continuous flow in #3 and 2 leaks a little.
Thanks
Thanks
